Thank to DTU Offshore we could here about tools that are used to measure marine life and detect contaminatoin in the North Sea.
We visited Esbjerg in February 2024. We had a tour of Noble Highlander rig and Welltec facility.
GEUS hosted SPE meeting in November 2023. We discussed technical insights and legal developments towards Denmark's upcoming CO2 storage licensing round.
NOV Subsea Production Systems hosted SPE Copenhagen and granted members a tour of their state-of-the-art Flexible Pipe Laboratory Research facility.

Founded in 1984, The Society of Petroleum Engineers Copenhagen Section aims to bring the Oil & Gas Industry, services industries, and academia world together to jointly contribute to solutions that benefit society. It is the professional home for a variety of professionals such as engineers, scientists, managers and educators in the Copenhagen area. We provide a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, debate and enrichment in an informal atmosphere by hosting 6-8 events annually in a mix of virtual and face to face engagements. The activities of the section are presented in the quarterly newsletter.
